On the occasion of the 2025 return to school, ECE innovates once again by welcoming Milo, an autonomous artificial intelligence that joins the engineering classes. More than just a technological project, Milo becomes a pedagogical partner, capable of interacting with students and actively participating in campus life.
An AI in engineering school: vision or reality?
At ECE, artificial intelligence is no longer just a subject of study. In 2025, it becomes a classmate.
Milo is the name of this one-of-a-kind AI. Thanks to its integration into group projects, it stimulates creativity and fosters interaction between students and AI, while allowing students to develop their critical thinking.
The goal is to transform the student experience and to concretely question the use of artificial intelligence in higher education.

An ethical and collaborative experimentation
Designed by teachers, researchers, pedagogical engineers, and students from the Intelligence Lab, the innovation center in artificial intelligence at ECE, the Milo project is an unprecedented experimentation.
This approach allows the ECE to offer a unique educational experimentation, where artificial intelligence becomes a vector of innovation and a catalyst for reflection on the role of technologies in our society.
A concrete overview of the experience
During the year, students will be able to test Milo, ask it questions, challenge its answers, and observe how it learns.
The experience allows for developing concrete skills, such as collaboration with advanced technologies, creativity, and critical thinking.
