MSc CGE Sustainable Energy Future

  • Design and manage smart energy infrastructure management systems.

  • Acquire the essential skills of energy managers: procurement, regulatory and legal matters, financial approaches, project management, negotiation, and innovation.

  • Mastering renewable energy production technologies: photovoltaics, solar thermal, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal, and anaerobic digestion.

  • Design production facilities in the engineering department and oversee their operation.

  • Analyze the social, economic, and political dimensions of the energy transition.

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams on international projects in the energy sector.

    Evaluation methods

    • Applied projects in renewable energy engineering and energy systems management.
    • Case studies drawn from real issues in energy transition.
    • Preparation for and obtaining the CAPM certification by PMI.
    • A 6-month long internship in a company with a mission report.
    • A study thesis defended before a jury.
    • An optional 4-month internship during the first year.

    • A mandatory 6-month internship in the second year, culminating in a thesis.

    • Applied projects in collaboration with stakeholders in the energy sector: producers, distributors, engineering firms, and cleantech startups.

    • Opportunities to meet with experts in the energy transition through conferences and company visits.
