The Fundamentals of Computing

The first year lays the foundations for your technical training. You will learn about programming languages, networks, operating systems and databases. The course is based on practical work and group projects. English is compulsory to prepare you for working in an international professional environment. 

At the same time, industry professionals will introduce you to careers in the digital sector.

Further development and international outreach

The second year builds on your technical skills and prepares you for your specialisation. A semester abroad is compulsory. You will study at one of our seven partner universities in Europe. This experience will enable you to improve your English. It will also introduce you to new technological practices on a global scale.

Specialisation and professionalisation

In the third year, you will deepen your technical and sector-specific knowledge. You can enrol on a work-study programme to gain professional experience directly within a company. This final year provides practical preparation for your transition into the world of work. Upon completion of your course, you can enter the labour market or go on to study for a Master’s degree.

The Bachelor’s degree is a three-year degree, awarded by a state-recognised higher education institution. It is equivalent to 180 ECTS credits and prepares you for careers in the digital sector through a practice-oriented approach.

The ECE Bachelor’s degree is an RNCP Level 6 qualification, awarded by the Ministry of Labour. It is equivalent to a three-year degree and opens the door to a wide range of career opportunities in the digital sector.

A Licence is a general university degree offered by universities. The ECE Bachelor’s degree is a specialised course in computer science, designed to prepare students for the world of work. It includes practical projects, work-study placements and study abroad opportunities.

If you’re looking to enter the digital sector quickly, the Bachelor’s degree is the ideal choice. This course combines academic rigour, work experience and technical specialisation. The Licence is more suited to an academic and theoretical focus.

The National Register of Professional Qualifications (RNCP) lists qualifications recognised by the State. An RNCP Level 6 qualification (equivalent to three years of higher education) guarantees the value of your programme to employers and higher education institutions in France and abroad.

It is entirely possible to continue your studies after completing your Bachelor’s degree. You can enrol on the ECE Engineering programme, an MSc or a Master’s degree. These five-year post-A-level programmes build on the skills in project management, technical management and development that you have acquired during your degree.

The Bachelor’s degree programme lasts three years. This programme offers two possible start dates: in September or in January/March. Lectures are delivered in French or English, depending on your chosen specialism.

To apply for the Bachelor’s degree, you should submit your application directly via our platform, outside the Parcoursup system. Once your application has been assessed, you will be invited to attend a motivational interview. You will receive a response within 5 working days.

Yes. A semester of international study is compulsory in the second year. You will spend time at one of our partner universities abroad. This experience will strengthen your skills in intercultural management and project management in an international context.
