The Bachelor in Application Development and Design at ECE is a 3rd year undergraduated level program. It prepares you to design, develop, and deploy web, mobile, and secure applications. Offered in French on the Paris campus, this 3-year program places security and ergonomics at the core of every project. This Bachelor’s program prepares for the professional certification of “Application Developer” at level 6, awarded by the Ministry of Labor and registered under number RNCP 37873. This 3rd year undergraduated level qualification, available through alternating study, is recognized by France Compétences. It is valued by recruiters in digital service companies and organizations that have a dedicated IT service.

Evaluation Methods
The evaluation is based on continuous assessment throughout the 3 years. You are evaluated through:
- Design and development projects applied to real cases.

- A Final Year Project presented before a jury.
- An internship or work-study program in a company, with a mission report.
For students in work-study programs, the RNCP certification includes an examination before a qualified professional jury. The competence blocks must be fully validated: partial validation of a block is not possible.

How to apply for the Bachelor in Application Development ?
Admission to Bachelor 1st year
Open to holders of a general baccalaureate, STI2D, STMG or technological vocational bac. An interest in software development and algorithmic logic is expected.
Admission to Bachelor 2nd year
Open to holders of a validated 1st year undergraduated in computer science or in a technological field.
Admission to Bachelor 3rd year
Open to holders of a scientific or technological BTS, or a 2nd year undergraduated in technology.

Yes. This Bachelor prepares for the professional certification of “Application Development Designer” at level 6, issued by the Ministry of Labor and registered under the number RNCP 37873. This title is recognized by France Compétences and valued by recruiters in the digital sector in France and internationally. It is only available through a work-study program for RNCP certification.
The program lasts for 3 years, totaling 180 ECTS credits. You can enter the program in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year depending on your level. The start of the academic year is in September.
Admissions are open year-round, excluding Parcoursup. The process occurs in several stages:
- Submission of the application online via the application form.
- Review of the application by the Admissions Service and then by a jury.

Yes. Internships are integrated from the 1st year, totaling 10 months of professional experience throughout the curriculum. You will complete an introductory internship in the 1st year, corporate projects in the 2nd year, and then a long internship or a work-study program in the 3rd year.

Yes. The work-study option is available in the 3rd year, following a rhythm of 2 weeks in class and 3 weeks in the company. This is the pathway that allows you to obtain the RNCP 37873 certification.
It immerses you in concrete application development tasks and allows you to finance your training, with tuition fees covered by the host company. A first job often naturally follows this experience.
The teachings of the Bachelor’s Degree in Application Development are delivered in French. The practice of English is integrated throughout the program, particularly through technical English courses and the mandatory international mobility in the 2nd year.
