    • Advanced probabilities and systemic risk models
    • Econometrics and macroeconomic forecasting models

    Emerging financial technologies

    • Distributed ledgers and blockchain: architecture, protocols, applications
    • Smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi)
    • Introduction to quantum computing applied to finance
    • AI and machine learning for financial markets

    Law and regulation of Fintech

    • Cryptocurrency and digital asset law
    • European regulatory framework for Fintech: MiCA, PSD2, DORA
    • Compliance and anti-money laundering in decentralized ecosystems

    Management and project

    • Project management in a Fintech environment
    • Financial communication and macro scenario modeling
    • Multidisciplinary team project (MTP)

    • Generative AI applied to economic scenario modeling

    Prospective analysis and public policies

    • Prospective analysis and anticipation of sectoral transformations

    Minor and deepening

    Engineering internship – minimum 6 months in a financial institution, research organization or Think Tank

    Mandatory international semester (4th or 5th year)

    Evaluation methods

    • Macroeconomic modeling projects and applied financial scenarios.
    • Case studies on real Fintech disruptions: blockchain, DeFi, crypto-assets.
    • Multidisciplinary team project (PPE) and final study project (PFE).
    • A minimum 6-month engineering internship with a report and defense before a jury.
    • A mandatory international semester, validated with a partner university of ECE.

    Job-ready

    • A minimum 3-month internship during the 4th year at a financial institution, fintech company, or economic research organization.

    • An engineering internship of at least 6 months during the 5th year of study, culminating in a final-year project.

    • A mandatory international semester at one of the ECE's 160 academic partner institutions.

    • Applied research projects in collaboration with the ECE's partner laboratory, which specializes in macroeconomic models with heterogeneous autonomous agents and in forecasting crypto-assets.
