How to apply for the MSc CGE Data Management ?
Admission to MSc first year
Open to holders of a validated 3rd year undergraduated diploma (180 ECTS) in a scientific and technical field. Solid foundations in applied mathematics, knowledge of databases (SQL), skills in data science or machine learning, and a basic understanding of Python, R, or Java are required. A TOEIC B2 level in English is required.
Admission to MSc 2nd year
Open to holders of a validated 4-Year degree diploma (240 ECTS) in a scientific and technical field, with the same technical prerequisites. A TOEIC B2 level in English is required.

The MSc Data Management is offered in English or French depending on your profile and background. This linguistic flexibility allows you to specialize in an international environment while remaining accessible to French-speaking students. A TOEIC B2 level in English is required for admission.

Yes. The program includes an optional 4-month internship in the 1st year and a mandatory 6-month internship in the 2nd year. These immersions allow you to specialize in a specific field – finance, health, industry, marketing – and to apply your data skills in a real professional context. With more than 10,000 partner companies, ECE actively supports you in your search.
The MSc Data Management takes place over 2 years, for a total of 150 ECTS credits. This program is accessible in MSc 1st year (Bac +3) or in MSc 2nd year (Bac +4). A particularity of this program: two intakes are offered, in September and in March, giving you more flexibility to join the program.
Admission to the MSc Data Management occurs in three steps:
- Submission of the online application
- Selection phase based on the application and motivation interview
- Receipt of the decision.
To specialize in this Master of Science, you must have a solid background in applied mathematics, SQL, and programming (Python, R, or Java), as well as a TOEIC B2 level in English.
At the beginning of their career, a recent graduate in cybersecurity earns between 3,500 € and 5,000 € gross per month. With a few years of experience, a CISO or senior consultant can earn between 6,000 € and 9,000 € gross monthly. Cybersecurity is one of the highest-paying professions in digital engineering. By joining ECE, you become part of a community of over 40 student associations covering various themes: data, AI, entrepreneurship, business, sports, and solidarity. You also benefit from the Intelligence Lab, a hub dedicated to generative AI, and the FabriK For Good, a student incubator for impact, to develop your innovative projects.
At the beginning of their career, a young graduate in data management and AI earns between €3,500 and €5,500 gross per month, depending on the position and sector. Profiles specializing in machine learning or MLOps can reach €6,000 to €8,000 gross monthly with a few years of experience. Positions in data marketing or business intelligence are also very well compensated.
