Funding options with
The Erasmus+ grant
Students going on academic mobility under the Erasmus+ program have the possibility to receive a scholarship based on the criteria set by the European Commission. The monthly grant amount varies according to the host destination.
Students going on internship mobility in an eligible country for a duration of 2 to 12 months have the possibility of obtaining an internship grant based on the criteria established by the European Commission. The monthly amount of the grant varies depending on the host destination.

The ‘Inclusion’ Supplement
A flat financial supplement ‘inclusion’ of 250€ per month is granted to Erasmus+ students ‘with fewer opportunities’, that is, the most vulnerable, the most distant from mobility, and those who need it the most, meeting one of the following criteria:
Proof of residence (energy bill, water bill, home insurance…)
If the participant’s name is not on the proof of residence, it must be accompanied by a certificate of accommodation
The Observatory of Territories
MDPH decision certificate or long-term illness certificate or disability card
Proof of address (utility bill, water bill, home insurance…) If the participant’s name does not appear on the proof of address, it must be accompanied by a sworn statement of accommodation

The Erasmus+ program allows, subject to the prior agreement of the Erasmus+ Agency France, the coverage of expenses necessary for mobility on the basis of actual costs, so that each participant can make the most of their experience abroad.
The Erasmus+ program pays particular attention to the reception, guidance, pedagogical and technical support, as well as the coverage of additional costs related to the mobility of students with disabilities. The aim is to enable each student to fully benefit from their international mobility experience.
As part of its Erasmus+ charter for higher education, ECE is committed to ensuring equal access to mobility for all its students. Thanks to the COMASCO scheme, ECE students can benefit from personalized support, including adapted supervision and concrete solutions to facilitate their mobility, so that each participant can fully enjoy their Erasmus+ experience.

Contribution to Travel Expenses
The fixed amounts are determined according to kilometer ranges and the mode of transport used (see table below). An eco-responsible package (train, bus, carpooling) is awarded upon presentation of round-trip transport proofs. The distance, calculated between the administrative address of the ECE and that of the partner university, is based on the European platform

ECTS – European Credit Transfer System
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) simplifies student mobility from one institution to another or for going to other countries. It guarantees the academic recognition of studies carried out abroad.
The ECE has adopted this system which facilitates student mobility and the recognition of studies.
Academic Recognition
60 ECTS represent the workload of an academic year and therefore, as a general rule, 30 ECTS correspond to one semester of studies. The program of courses taken at the partner university is detailed in the study contract established in agreement with the ECE.
Credits are awarded after a favorable assessment of the skills. The ECTS system is based on the principle of transparency of results. Thus, the host university will send the transcript of the mobile student to the ECE according to the local grading system, along with the corresponding ECTS credits.

Partner universities apply their own grading system. The results obtained are then converted according to the academic recognition rules provided by the ECE and the Erasmus+ program.
