What is cloud computing?

• public cloud : it belongs to third-party cloud service providers. It offers storage servers accessible via a web browser. It is also possible to use a CLI or an API. The providers manage the software and infrastructure of the cloud;
• private cloud : this is when a single company, corporation, or organization uses the cloud resources. It is hosted either in the owner’s on-site data center or with the service provider;
• hybrid cloud : this is a form of cloud between the public and private service. Data can be shared among users. For businesses, the hybrid cloud offers more scalability and flexibility in terms of data management;
• multicloud : this form of cloud involves the intervention of multiple cloud computing providers. Businesses can choose features and services based on their needs.

• the FinOps expert: this specialist takes care of monitoring, controlling, and managing costs for cloud architectures;

To train in  cloud computing, it is possible to follow initial training or continuous education courses. The choice depends on the level of the students. For beginners in IT, it is preferable to orient towards initial training that covers the basics of the cloud.
