But what is “Innovatech“?

It is a national competition aimed at promoting innovation and creativity in the industry of the future. It brings together teams made up of high school girls, students, and sponsors from Elles Bougent.

How is it organized?

Each team, composed of 2 high school girls, 2 students, and 2 sponsors from Elles Bougent, had 5 hours to create and develop an innovative product or solution related to the industry of the future, before presenting it to a jury of professionals. At the end of the day, the jury awards 2 prizes: the Jury’s First Prize, and the Heart Prize to the 2 most convincing teams and projects.

The Innovatech Rhone-Alpes Challenge

Last week, the Innovatech Rhone-Alpes Challenge took place, organized by Coralie Thieulin, a researcher in physics and regional delegate of Elles Bougent, at the ECE Lyon.

Project “Gyn&Co”

The team B-2A-3J wins the jury’s Heart Prize in Rhone-Alpes for their project Gyn&Co, a project aimed at facilitating access to gynecological follow-up.

Project “My underwear and me”

The jury decided to award the project Ma culotte et moi presented by the team Les Culottées with the jury’s first prize. Ma culotte et moi is a well-being and gynecological diagnostic aid system aimed at helping women understand their bodies and assist in detecting gynecological diseases.

The grand final of the Innovatech Challenge

The team Les Culottées will attend the grand final of the Innovatech Challenge in Paris on May 15, 2024, to pitch their project and try to win the final! This year again, for the 6th consecutive time, the ECE will be represented at the national final as Inès Haller, president of Hello Tech Girls Lyon, is part of the finalist team. We wish her good luck!
