A national challenge to innovate in a feminine way
Organized by the association Elles Bougent, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, the Challenge Innovatech brings together each year teams of 100% women composed of high school students, university students, and engineers.
Their mission: to imagine a technological innovation project in one day, then present it before a jury of experts.
Objective: to highlight the role of women in scientific and technological careers, through a collaborative, supportive, and ambitious experience.
An adventure made possible through sharing
At ECE Lyon, it is thanks to the support of its physics teachers, Mrs. Thieulin and Mrs. Dedecker, and the testimony of Inès Haller, regional winner 2023, that Satine dared to take the plunge.

Gaining confidence, revealing new skills
Stepping out of her comfort zone, collaborating with strangers, pitching a project under time constraints… Satine discovered unexpected resources within herself.
“The challenge revealed a great ease in speaking that I didn’t think I had. It allowed me to adapt to different profiles within a very close-knit team.”
Unforgettable encounters and a wonderful collective energy
Beyond technical skills, it is the human aspect of the experience that has impacted Satine the most.
“The whole school was behind me. I met amazing girls, and together, we carried out a concrete and innovative project.”

Today, Satine encourages all students to dare to experience this unique opportunity.
“Don’t be afraid. Go for it. It’s an enriching, human, motivating adventure… and really fun!”
