The ECE recently participated successfully in the AWAKE CHALLENGE 2024, a competition for responsible innovation. This competition highlights sustainable technological projects developed by teams of students.
ECEBORG, grand winners of the competition!
The AWAKE CHALLENGE is a prestigious competition organized by Awake and Innovateam where teams of students design sustainable and innovative technological projects. This year, two teams from ECE met the challenge with excellence: ECEBORG and Team 1337!
The 1st place of the competition was won by the team ECEBORG (Maxime Recasens, Christophe Vallet and François Bonnet), they were fortunate to receive a check for €2500
Sophisticated machines at the cutting edge of technology
Our teams have designed vehicles equipped with carbon chassis, an Arduino Nano, a LiDAR, all centered around a module dedicated to AI and a method for training AI through simulation accompanied by the use of ROS2 (Robot Operating System).
Although our second team, Team 1337 (Gabriel Gasnier, Neïl Rahmouni, Mohammad Nafee, Mattias Boyer and Valentin Barré) faced technical difficulties with their vehicle, preventing them from moving on the circuit, we applaud their determination and investment in this competition.
