Qualities and skills required to be a good Cloud & Data Architect

Knowledge of modern data management architectures (Data Mesh, Lakehouse) and data security issues is required. Market-recognised cloud certifications are a tangible means of securing salary progression.
In addition to technical skills, the Cloud & Data Architect must have good communication skills to explain their architectural choices to teams with a variety of backgrounds.
