Why join the ECE Engineering Program in March?
Your first post-bac year in your current program did not convince you? The ECE Prép’Ac opens a new path for you. In 18 intensive weeks, you solidify your foundations and directly join the 2nd year of the Engineering program in September 2027.
Don’t lose a year!
Thanks to the delayed intake, you won’t have to wait a year before starting your training. You catch up in six months with students who started their course in September.
A recognized intensive program
The Prép’Ac boasts a 94% success rate in transitioning to the 2nd year. The courses cover mathematics, physics, computer science, and technical projects.
A Master’s Grade Engineering Degree
At the end, a diploma recognized by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur. You then have access to more than ten majors to tailor the path that suits you.
Admission Procedures
How to apply to the ECE Engineering Program?
Applications are open until the end of January 2027. The selection takes place in 3 stages. Places are limited to a single group of students (approximately forty places available).
Submission of the application online
National applicants: submit your application on the Avenir Plus platform
International candidates: submit your application on our International Admissions platform.
Application review
A panel evaluates your academic background since your Première class (or equivalent level for international candidates). Your results in mathematics and sciences are particularly considered.
Motivation interview
If your application is eligible, you will be invited to a motivation interview. It will take place in person or via videoconference. You will present your reorientation project and your engineering ambitions.
Final admission result
Your decision will be communicated to you after the final jury. Classes start on the first Monday of March on our 3 campuses: Bordeaux – Lyon – Paris
Admission conditions based on your level
- Be enrolled in a 1st year of higher education – PASS, L.AS, scientific CPGE, scientific or technological degree
- Hold a general baccalauréat with a Mathematics specialty and a so-called ‘scientific’ specialty: Physics chemistry, SVT, NSI or SI, or hold an equivalent foreign scientific baccalauréat.

How much does a year in the Engineering Program cost in the staggered intake?
The fee is adapted to the duration of the intensive semester. Several financing aid schemes are available to support your engineering project.

ECE offers you several funding assistance programs
International Students
Do you reside outside the Europe zone? A services pack of €700 is included in your tuition fees. It covers all administrative procedures: visa, housing, arrival on campus. The tuition fee for the Prépa’Ac is set at €8,490 for international applicants.
