What is a major?

A major is 450 hours of courses divided into 3 semesters. The objective of a major is to allow students to project their scientific and technical skills into a professional environment: health, autonomous vehicles, embedded systems, aeronautics, finance, energy, etc.

How to choose your major?

In February of the first year of the engineering cycle, students choose their major. Students are accompanied by the teaching team throughout this period of choice through business round tables with professionals from various sectors, meetings with the heads of majors, workshops… Choices of majors are made on a space-available basis, but students generally have their first choice out of 8. In addition to their major, they choose a minor per semester in 2nd year of the engineering cycle and a more in-depth option in 3rd year, and get involved in multi-disciplinary team projects.

Les 12 majeures technologiques sont choisies par chaque étudiant en 2e année du cycle ingénieur.
Une majeure couvre un domaine technologique très large.
Elle permet d’approfondir ce domaine tout en développant une ouverture généraliste aux technologies de l’information.
