What studies are needed for a career in renewable energy?

Depending on your ambitions and goals, you can choose from a wide range of courses to work in therenewable energy sector.

If you’re in a hurry to enter the world of work and invest in your professional experience, choose a short cycle. You can take a DUT or a BTS, which generally take 2 years to complete. Many courses also take 3 years to complete after the baccalauréat, as part of a license or bachelor’s degree.

If you want to deepen your knowledge in a specific field related to renewable energies, you can go all the way to Bac + 5 and take a Master’s degree.
