Presentation of the MSc Sustainable Energy Futures

The decline in fossil fuels (and the sustained rise in their price), the considerable increase in energy demand, supply difficulties, the weight of the energy sector in GHG emissions and the fight against climate change (reaffirmed by the ratification of the Paris Agreements in 2015) require a rapid and profound transformation of energy production and consumption.

To achieve this, traditional players in the sector(Total, EDF, ENGIE, etc.), as well as new entrants, need to mobilize and adapt, with a strong focus on recruiting new profiles.

This program offers a global vision of the energy and environment sectors, drawing on both science and technology, as well as the humanities and social sciences(political science, economics, etc.).

Its main objective is to train managers capable of designing and implementing intelligent systems for managing energy infrastructures, monitoring consumption and storing energy, based on state-of-the-art control techniques, sensor networks and information systems.
This enables them to understand developments in the energy and environment sectors, identify new challenges, respond to and anticipate threats, and deploy appropriate solutions.

Jaho

I enrolled in the first MSc Energy class because I’m passionate about new technologies and very involved in sustainable development issues. I dream of using my technical skills to help create a more sustainable world. I’m delighted to be able to start an internship with a startup.
