To meet this demand, the MSc Embedded AI & Edge Intelligence program offers a highly specialized curriculum, designed for students keen to push AI beyond the cloud and onto edge devices.
Through hands-on projects, the program focuses on the design and deployment of lightweight AI models directly on edge hardware. Students also explore cutting-edge approaches to creating AI solutions that protect sensitive data by training models collaboratively across multiple devices.
The program also coversAI optimization at hardware level to maximize performance and efficiency on devices.

The Head of the MSc – Bikram Pratim BHUYAN
Dr. Bikram Pratim Bhuyan is responsible for the 3 MSc programs Artificial Intelligence, Embedded AI & Edge Intelligence, MSc AI for Busines Information at ECE and a researcher at the LISV laboratory at Université Paris-Saclay.
He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Université Paris-Saclay, and has over ten years’ experience in research and teaching in India and France. His work focuses on the integration of symbolic reasoning and deep learning in neuro-symbolic systems, with several awards and publications in leading conferences and journals.
He sits on the editorial board of Scientific Reports, evaluates for conferences such as NeurIPS and AAAI, and supervises PhD, Master’s and undergraduate students in the fields of knowledge representation and explainable AI. A member of AAAI, ACM and the European Trustworthy AI Association, he combines scientific rigor and pedagogical passion to train tomorrow’s engineers.
