Since starting school in September, Milo, the world’s very first engineering student AI, has been the talk of the town. The press, radio and television have all picked up on this unprecedented project, giving the ECE exceptional media exposure.

A project attracting media interest

In just a few days, Milo has been featured in numerous national and international media: M6, Tech & Co, BFM Business, Les Echos, Stratégies, Le Monde Informatique, L’Étudiant, franceinfo, RTL, France Inter, Le Parisien, CB News, TV5MONDE and Europe 1.

This remarkable coverage bears witness to thegrowing interest in artificial intelligence in education.

Recognition for ECE

With Milo, ECE confirms its position as a pioneer in educational innovation. But it was also the collaborative approach to the project that caught the journalists’ attention: the creativity of theOISX agency (Christophe Perruchas and Laura Merkbaoui), the design by Maxime Schneider, and thedigital identity by Paul Nouaille-Degorce and Youssef Jaafar.

Designed as a frugal, sovereign and ethical AI, Milo has no fixed role. She evolves over the months, in direct interaction with students and teachers. A veritable living laboratory, she paves the way for collective reflection on the place of technology in our lives.

When technology and society meet

If the media are so interested in Milo, it’s because she embodies a new way of looking at AI: not as a cold technology, but as a human and collective experience that questions our ways of learning and collaborating.

The visibility offered by this media coverage is a first step. Milo’s story continues to be written, alongside ECE students and teachers. More than a technological project, Milo is an invitation to imagine the future of education and to reinvent the place of AI in our lives.
