We are proud to see research from the LyRIDS at ECE highlighted at VEAM 2025 – Economists’ Annual Meeting, where Duc Pham Hi was invited as a Keynote Speaker at the Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration.
His talk, “Crypto & A.I.: A Tale of Two Xenomorphs”, offers a rigorous and original perspective on the economic dynamics of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies. By combining classical macroeconomic frameworks (IS-LM, DSGE, behavioral finance) with innovative mathematical and physical analogies, this work provides valuable tools to better understand systemic risks, productivity dynamics, and regulatory challenges.
