What is a Master’s in Data Engineering?

The Master’s in Data Engineering at ECE, taught in French on the Paris campus, trains the pioneers of this revolution.

The targeted professional certification
The Data Engineer Master’s is a school diploma awarded by ECE (Central School of Electronics), at level 7, registered with the RNCP. This title certifies complete mastery of data engineering: design of technical architectures, deployment of massive solutions integrating AI, and management of data projects. ECE is a state-recognized private higher education institution, authorized by the Engineering Titles Commission (CTI), a member of the Conference of Grandes Écoles (CGE), and holder of the DD&RS (Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility) label.

How to apply for the Data Engineer Master’s?
Admission
Access to the Data Engineer Master’s program is open to holders of a diploma or title RNCP level 6 (3rd year undergraduated) or equivalent (180 ECTS credits). Candidates must demonstrate technical prerequisites: understanding of SQL and Python languages, mastery of networks and the Linux system, and knowledge of the profession targeted by their professional project. These prerequisites are assessed through a placement test prior to entry into the program.

The Master Data Engineer is a full-time program (initial pace). Expect between 30 and 35 hours of classes per week, in addition to personal work, data projects, and preparation for evaluations.
This volume covers all the methods and technologies necessary for the practice of the Data Engineer profession within timelines compatible with market expectations.
Yes. The Master Data Engineer is a level 7 diploma registered with the RNCP, awarded by ECE (Ecole Centrale d’Electronique). ECE is an institution recognized by the State, accredited by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieurs (CTI), a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE), and holds the DD&RS label.
The Master Data Engineer is taught in French. The teachings enable students to master the tools and technologies of data engineering in their native language, while being exposed to a predominantly English technical terminology.
