The Major in Embedded Systems adds to the uniqueness of the ECE curriculum since our school is one of the only graduate schools of engineering to offer full academic training in this field. The embedded systems domain is currently experiencing tremendous growth in the automobile, aeronautics, space, rail, mobile communications, and electronic payment solutions industries. The main technological driver behind today’s research and development is the need for mobility. Today companies value operational embedded systems engineers, and yet such graduates are hard to find on the market. Our students conduct their internships with leading companies working as embedded software engineers, real-time software engineers, embedded applications engineers, or industrial process automation engineers working for DASSAULT AVIATION, SNECMA, SCHLUMBERGER, VALEO, etc.
