
7 generalist and high-tech majors
The 7 technological majors are freely chosen by each student in the 2nd year of the engineering cycle. They have in common to associate data processing, electronics, telecommunications, networks … A « major » covers a broad technological sector. It enables to go deeper into the sector while developing a generalist opening to information technology. Career opportunities are various enough to match the changing needs of companies that hire mostly engineers with solid scientific basis, mastering several technologies, able to manage ambitious projects and comprehending easily future technologies.
The convergence of technologies is specifically approached in the team-projects during the 2nd and 3rd year. The TMP (Team Multidisciplinary Project –« PPE » in french-) and TFP (Team Final project –« PFE » in french) bring together skills from the 7 majors, needed for the achievement of a scale project.
