Design & Development Engineer
This engineer is responsible for collaborating with the project manager to design and develop new products and processes. The products and processes must take into account and meet the technical and technological requirements in terms of quality and quantity.
Systems Engineer
This engineer is responsible for analyzing the needs, defining the technical specifications, implementing and maintaining operating systems and related software. In the case of projects requiring the utilization of new technologies, responsibilities can also include facilitating the development of the information systems, and monitoring technological improvements in the market.
Embedded Software Engineer
This professional designs and develops hidden software i.e. software permanently set in calculators or electronic modules and integrated in complex systems or consumer electronics. This engineer usually specializes in a specific sector such as the automobile industry, avionics, electronic payment systems etc…
Business Engineer
This engineer sells products and provides services related to information and communication technologies. This professional specializes in a product and software range, and also has industrial knowledge which allows to understand the market and its features. As a trained engineer, he naturally understands technology and the issues associated with it, and necessarily has added to his skills set by developing sales and marketing expertise.
Consultant
A consultant is in charge of identifying the relevant equipment, software, architecture, prices… He analyzes the client’s needs, and provides the most appropriate technical solution along with the financial projections. Project Manager
The project manager is in charge of leading a team in the design and development process of a product that meets the specifications and deadlines of the company. He manages human, financial, hardware and software resources by relying on consistent management processes. His responsibilities as a manager require him to demonstrate leadership and communication skills i.e. the ability to motivate, coordinate, and control team players. He organizes the work, and manages deadlines and budgets.
