Master of IT and Finance
The Master of IT and Finance trains financial engineers with a strong capacity to make use of efficient and powerful computational tools, both hardware and software. Students will learn to model complex instruments – options, derivatives, securities - and contingent risk situations – market, credit and operational – taken from the banking, insurance, and brokerage and clearing environments. They will acquire the skills to create programs that deal with these advanced financial technologies as well as learning the fundamental financial legislations. Typical positions are in front office trading, middle office, finance consulting, risk modelling and management, quant-related software engineering and editing.
