Financing higher studies in France is a challenge. Students should think about this very early in their application process. It is of the utmost importance to start finding funds before confirming the application and accepting an academic offer. When figuring out their budget, students may also take into account that ECE students will earn internship wages (there is a 4month Internship in the Master Year 1, and a 6-month internship at the end of the Master’s program); the monthly average wage is about €1,000 which, when to family contributions and grants, is not negligible.
The ECE 2-year Master’s program is eligible for various scholarships programs by the governments of the countries the students are coming from, and also for scholarship programs in France.
Among the latter are the EIFFEL scholarship program and the French Government scholarship program – both are not easy to obtain. However, two programs are to be considered by the applicants with more chances to succeed:
Applications to the « Master Scholarship Ile-de-France » have to be ready by March every year. The ECE program is developed all along the year, resulting of the interest of the companies to offer internships and jobs to international students, in order to enhance their international activities.
